DVF presenta Heritage Collection, la nuova capsule di abiti dedicata al wrap dress‏

Creato da Diane von Furstenberg nel 1974, il wrap dress, la versatile vestaglietta in jersey di seta stampata,  diventò uno dei capi più richiesti dalle donne di tutto il mondo, simbolo di indipendenza e emancipazione femminile.

A più di quaranta anni dalla creazione del primo wrap dress, DVF ripropone nove storici modelli declinati in sette stampe di archivio per la S/S 2015: dal classico abito a vestaglia, al prendisole con scollo all’americana, fino ad arrivare ad abiti monospalla e tuniche allungate adatte per le calde sere d’estate. 

I pattern, dall’allure Seventies e spudoratamente vintage,  riprendono le stampe tipiche delle origini di DVF: la Signature e la Chainlink, dall’effetto optical bianco e nero,  la Diamond, geometrica e sfaccettata o le Amelia e Leopard, dal look più femminile. Ad accompagnare gli abiti, una serie di accessori in tema.

The life of Catherine de’ Medici may sound like an ancient tale. A story of a faraway era that’s long since passed.
It’s the story of a princess who became queen that changed the rules of the game forever.
It’s 1533. The occasion is the wedding between her and the Duke of Orleans, later King Henry II of France. Catherine decides to wear high heels for the occasion. 
Both strong and ambitious, Catherine overthrew the constraints of women's fashion during her era filled with rigid social norms. 
This would be the first time in history that a woman wears high heels to a formal occasion.
Catherine was the first woman ever to show the seductive walk of a woman in heels that fascinates the world to this day. She was a pioneer of her era that affected modern cultures around the world and made heels an everyday accessory symbolic of elegance, grace, and femininity.
