Suited and tethered to one another, a procession of anonymous travellers emerges. Pulling hard against the limits of their bindings, their movements are connected, yet simultaneously singular. A gradually swallowing idea of isolation, these men’s garments are encasing vessel-like objects. Here, utility and decoration weather and fuse, armour expands and softens, and tools become coiling bodily extensions. Symbols of belonging meet, creating buoyancy aids that lead them forward, further along their uncharted course.
