Tuesday afternoon the German - French designer duo AUGUSTIN TEBOUL showed his Autumn - Winter 2014/15 collection " EQUINOXE " during Mercedes - Benz Fashion Week Berlin at the Gallery Judin. The bright, high gallery space was the site for the new autumn - winter collection of two designers and underlined by its minimalist and timeless elegance the futuristic inspired installation. A swinging canvas was the setting of the retro - futuristic space ship, on which the models presented the elaborated creations. This was staged by scenographer Zana Bosnjak. The Models, styled by Niki Pauls, moved in continuously changing formations on electronic synthesizer sounds of Jean Michel Jarre's album , Equinoxe' from the year 1978. New are this season for the very first time some nude - colored creations that are a gentle complement to the typical black outlines of the label. The creations of the autumn / winter collection play with structures, shapes and textures. The designers uses materials such as leather, knitwear, velvet, silk and tulle and alos technical neoprene, that creates a contrast to traditional craftsmanship techniques. High waisted skirts with neoprene inserts meet short sweaters, embroidered leggings are combined with chunky crochet cardigans. The overall picture is a very feminine and at the same time futuristic collection with another dimension that is created with voluminous velvet blousons and graphical, sculptural pieces. Also the headdresses show the artistic work of the design talents: nude - coloured face jewellery from Swarovski ElementsTM with red mouths completes the futuristic overall picture.
