KUHO S/S 2019 PRESENTATION

This season’s concept/keyword is “Palimpsest”.

A palimpsest is a manuscript page, either from a scroll or a book, from which the text has been scraped or washed off so that the page can be reused for another document. The inspiration came from the patterns of layers of texts or drawings that were created on the reused parchment. Throughout the collection, you will find lots of layering details especially with see-through fabrics.  Also, we brought back exaggerated fringes and raw edge details which are a reinterpretation of the old parchment’s edge. From SS19 collection line, we would like to highlight trendy linen fabric with a powdery feel which also ties back to the concept and inspired from dusty old parchments.

KUHO F/W 2017

Per la collezione Autunno/Inverno 2017 KUHO ritrae la sensibilità e la sensitività del collezionista di fragranze utilizzando una palette di colori ton sur ton con un look da boudoir. Il mood romantico e dark è espresso attraverso i tessuti morbidi e delicati, texture enfatizzate, stampe floreali e jacquard ispirati alla collezione del collezionista di fragranze. 

Ritroviamo anche per l’Autunno/Inverno la silhouette a clessidra, da sempre simbolo di KUHO, realizzata con materiali fatti a mano come il cashmere, il raso e il velluto a stampa floreale. I pantaloni a zampa e i cappotti sono ispirati agli anni 70 e la collezione di camicie è realizzata in jersey o seta.
