For the Resort 2016 collection, Thalé Blanc designer Deborah Sawaf drew from the underwater world for inspiration. The unique movement of the ocean is translated into slivers of contrasted materials and colors that adorn each style. The ocean’s inhabitants and their unique colors are reflected in the rich blue tones and emerald greens throughout thecollection. Thalé Blanc introduces new materials like hand - painted watersnake in different colors – emerald green, canary yellow and cobalt blue – on many of its iconic styles.
The signature Audrey is reimagined in luxurious ivory, pebbled leather with bursts of color that give the collection a modern feel. The spacious tote is shown in sumptuous leather and pony hair, a carry - all for the jetsetting woman. For evening, Thalé Blanc continues to dazzle with the introduction of several new styles suitable for any gala. The golden orchid clutch, an oval - shaped satin evening bag with beautiful blooms atop is a stand - out of the collection, while the acrylic Vera and Gisele clutches are presented in rose, gold and silver.
With Thalé Blanc’s tradition of incorporating beautiful pearls, the Spring 2016 collection does not disappoint. The unique octagonal clutch is covered in pearls while the orchids boast pearl centers. The Tiffany Micro’s plexiglass top handles are finished with pearl details, and the Vera and Gisele evening clutches are entirely mother – of – pearl.
