BEIJING DESIGN WEEK 2015 | ABOUT and OVERVIEW 2015‏

Beijing Design Week (BJDW)  returns every year at the end of September and throughout the October National Holiday to enliven China’s capital with a unique  city-wide series of initiatives celebrating creativity and innovation from the design field at large.

2015 Program Framework : ‘’DESIGN FOR CHINA’’. Design HOP – Program Highlights. Design HOP is a city-wide program of exhibitions, installations, pop-ups, workshops, seminars, and lectures that activates a contextualized dialogue between iconic areas of the Chinese capital and creative initiatives envisioning new meanings for the public role of design in generating a contemporary urbanity.
BJDW Design HOP has come to spread across 4 municipal districts and areas include: Dashilar, Baitasi, Indigo, Parkview Green, Dongcheng District Hub, 751 & 798 Art and Design District, Beijing Institute of Fashion and Technology Park, China Millennium Monument, Gehua Tower.
