Giorgio Armani announces his further collaboration with Academy Award® winning director Paolo Sorrentino for the Rome premiere of his new TV series The Young Pope.
For the special screening and dinner party held last Sunday night in the Italian capital, the cast of the show: Paolo Sorrentino, Jude law (the show's main character), and Silvio Orlando chose to wear Giorgio Armani. Additionally, Kasia Smutniak, Princess Lucia Odescalchi and Isabella Borromeo, guests at the event, chose to wear Giorgio Armani.

The collaboration, announced in September, further consolidates the long-standing personal and artistic relationship between Armani and Sorrentino. Armani has also participated in the production of the TV series by designing non-clerical clothing and accessories (in the photo attached from the press conference, the character Pope Pius XIII wears Giorgio Armani eyewear).
An original SKY, HBO, CANAL+ production, The Young Pope will premiere on 21st October 2016 in Italy, whilst in late October in the United Kingdom, Germany, Ireland, Austria and France, and in 2017 in the United States
