The Standard celebrated Women in Fashion with a special NYFW dinner honoring designers Maria Cornejo, Mara Hoffman, and Pamela Love, in support of Every Mother Counts, a maternal health non-profit organization dedicated to making pregnancy safe for every mother, everywhere. Guests enjoyed a family style menu by chef Angela Dimayuga, the Creative Director of Food & Culture at Standard International.
In addition to raising awareness of Every Mother Counts and donating to this important cause, The Standard curated specialty cocktails which will be available at its East Village restaurants through the rest of the week. Proceeds from the “Wonder Woman” (Yola mezcal, pineapple, amaro, honey, lemon) and “With Her”( Yola mezcal, maraschino, ginger, lime, sparkling wine) cocktails will be donated directly to Every Mother Counts by The Standard.
The evening was the latest installation of the hotel group’s ongoing dedication to supporting women in the arts and providing its spaces as open platforms for expression, following recent creative partnerships with artists including Prune Nourry, Zoe Buckman, and Lucy Sparrow.
